Let It Ride Poker Rules The rules for Let It Ride poker are very straightforward and simple, especially if you have ever played a hand of 5 card stud poker. The players each play against the house, not each other. Players are paid winnings based on their final five card hand and how many of the three possible bets are still on the table at the end of the hand.

Online Let it Ride Poker Rules

If you are playing online, you will not be sitting at a table with other players, so you receive the first 3 cards, then decide if you want to leave your second bet on the table or take it back. In some variations, you only place a single bet at the beginning of the hand and may decide to raise or bet a second time after the first three cards are dealt. Realize that both of these variations are exactly the same game, the bets are just placed in a different order.

You are then dealt a fourth card and you again have the option for your 3rd bet. Once this decision is made, you are dealt your fifth card and either lose all of your bets on the table or are paid on each remaining bet if you have a winning hand. In every Let it Ride or Let Em Ride poker game I have seen, the minimum paying hand is a pair of Tens.

Casino Let it Ride Poker Rules

When you are playing Let it Ride in a casino, the rules are much the same as those listed above for online play. The main difference is that each player receives their own first 3 cards and the last 2 cards are shared by everyone at the table. In other words, these are community cards, much like in a game of Texas Holdem poker.
